Been looking at your Montana pictures. I like the geysers. And the picture of you guys with Yellowstone Falls is really good too. How close were you for the close-up of the bull buffalo? He didn't look too happy!

Glad everyone liked my picture of the lizard ear ring. I was going to write a post about how he vicously leapt out of a pile of ruble and attached himself to my year, but really I was just moving him to a safer spot. Most anoles will only bit for a moment and then let go, but this guy really hung on.
Jan,if I recall correctly we were in a "buffalo jam" when that pic was taken. It crossed the road right in front of us, but we were in the (theoretical) safety of our car. I have another pic of a bull crossing in front of a jeep, and the bull is every bit as big as the car. Most impressive.
