Good Use for Bad Things

This Ando, my older daughter's turtle.  He comes to live with us for the summer; a grandchild of sorts.  We refer to his stay as "summer camp."  It turns out Ando loves Japanese beetles, a garden pest that can be quite destructive.  As an invasive species, I used to think there was no good use for these nasty beetles.  But now I've discovered I was wrong; they make great turtle food!
